1. Complete the visa application
2. Original and complete copy of a minimum of three (3) months VALID passport or travel document.
3. Proven airline reservation with onward itinerary or electronic
4. Copy of the identification document or residence card of the country where have your residence.
5. Provide three (3) photographs, when visa applications are filed in abroad, except for the tourist visa presented to the Service National Immigration in the Republic of
6. Pay for migratory services the sum of fifty balboas (B/.50.00), at the time of presentation to the National Immigration
7. Proof of economic solvency for your maintenance and sustenance according to the term of stay in the country, which may not be less than five hundred balboas (B/.500.00) and will be shown with one of the following options:
   • Certified check or bank draft payable to the
   • Traveler’s checks in the applicant’s
   • Bank certification, with account statement for the last month reflect available
   • Credit card with the account statement for the last month reflect available
   • Work certificate with last salary receipt or accreditation as an independent worker, in the case of a employee of a public or private
   • Document that proves the pension or retirement with your proof of payment; If you are a retired person or
   • If you are independent: income statement for the last fiscal
   • Bank reference, if it is a business owner
   • Letter of responsibility, certification that verifies the relationship and proof of economic solvency if it is a economically dependent

• Any other option that proves your income and is acceptable to the National Immigration Service.

8. Provide the last permit that was approved by the immigration authority (if proceeds).
9. Confirmed hotel reservation, (if applicable)
10. Submit, if applicable, a letter of invitation, in which case it may be for:
    • Temporary or permanent residents or Panamanians from Panama, attaching the following according to the case:
      • Authenticated copy of the personal identity card of the
      • Copy of the general passport and document of personal identification of the
      • Copy of payment receipt for the provision of services public, stating the location of the residence of the
    • Private entities, attaching the following:
      • Certification of the Public Registry;
      • Copy of the Notice of
      • Copy of the code of operation of the Free Zone of Colon (if applicable).
      • Copy of payment receipt for the provision of services public where the location of the company is stated

11. If the previous numeral is applied, the financial solvency of the person in charge that invites, may be accredited with any of the following documents:
    • bank certification
    • Income statement with your peace and
    • Work letter with the last card from the Social Security Fund in the case of natural

There is also an exception, to this article according to Executive Decree 521 of August 6, 2018. If any of the citizens have a valid visa or residence that has used it and that its validity is not less than six (6) months from the following countries: Canada, United States, Korea, Australia, Japan, Great Britain, Republic of Singapore and any of the States of the European Union, it will not require doing this procedure to enter.
