African Kings and Queens Journey to Panama

Dr. Melida A. Harris-Barrow, Founder and Chairwoman of the Sixth Region Global Chamber of Commerce, is committed to uniting the African Diaspora who was, disconnected from their native lands in Africa hundreds of years ago. Researchers estimate between ten, and fifteen million people were stolen from their homes, and transported to the Caribbean and the Americas sold as slaves to monetize an economy where those same individuals had no human rights.

The absence of history connecting the African Diaspora to the native lands in Africa has prevented millions and millions from obtaining peace. Because of disconnection to the root of the tree of life, countless people are spiritually malnourished in countries across the Americas including the Caribbean. Without proper education on the historical lineage that identifies the African Diaspora with their culture, people will continue to demonstrate behaviors that challenge and trouble their souls.

During the week of 19-25, May 2022 in Panama City, Panama, The Sixth Region Global Chamber of Commerce will make history as Dr. Melida Barrow brings Kings and Queens from Africa to Panama to begin the healing process for the grievances of the past. A home built on lies can never stand. Therefore, Dr. Harris Barrow felt necessary to begin this journey of reconciliation with the truth. Kings and Queens from Africa will journey to Panama to discuss the painful events of the past that still affect the children of the African Diaspora today.

Dr. Barrow presented her vision and initiative to Krishna Camarena Surgeon Director of the National Secretariat for the Development of Afro-Panamanians (SENADAP) and the Panamanian Government who welcomed the idea with genuine enthusiasm and with the understanding of the magnitude that such an important event represents in the milestone of history, for not only the African Diaspora but also for the indigenous people worldwide.

Though the highlight of the journey will be the reconciliation ceremony, business and investment forum, cultural exchange, exhibitions, tours, educational forums, and other activities and attractions will also be included in the program.
